We make a calm place to write.
Pagyra is a document editor for teams, made for people who write for a living and are tired of tools that keep asking for their attention.
Why Pagyra exists
Document tools used to be quiet. Then they filled up: sidebars nested inside sidebars, crowded toolbars, and an assistant waiting in every empty paragraph. Writing became something you do in the gaps between the product’s suggestions.
Pagyra goes the other way. You open a document and get a clean page. Your colleagues can write alongside you, and anyone you share it with can read it on their phone in about a second, without an account. That’s most of it, and we intend to keep it that way.
The name
Pagyra comes from papyrus, the reed people first wrote on. It’s why the product is warm paper with a single green: the colour of the reed.
What we believe.
These decide every argument about what Pagyra should do next.
The page is the product.
Everything on screen has to earn its place against an empty page. If a feature adds clutter to a new document, the feature is wrong.
Your work is never held back.
Prices are simple and public, and start at free. Nothing you have written is ever locked or deleted because a bill went unpaid.
AI is a guest.
Useful when invited, invisible when not. It acts only when asked, and an admin can turn it off.
Readers are free.
Documents exist to be read. You pay for the people who write, and anyone can read what you share.
Your data is yours.
Export everything in open formats at any time. Leave whenever you like, and take it all with you.
The company
Pagyra is a small company based in the United States. We build one product and run it ourselves, on managed infrastructure in the US, with backups we rehearse restoring every quarter. We don’t sell advertising, and we never sell or share your data. Our only income is the subscriptions of the teams who use Pagyra.
